2.  Login to Mathletics and explore the activities.


3. Watch Mr Beamond’s videos on Twitter (#meridenhomeworkhelp) to view recent calculation methods. Create your own questions to solve at home (at least 10 x and 10 ÷ questions).

4. Learn colours and numbers to 12 in French .


5. Light a candle for Candlemas and write a prayer of hope for 2019

6. Complete the Reading comprehension attached.


7. Design a poster for ‘Safer Internet Day’ or create a set of ‘Safe Internet Rules’ for you and your family.

8. Login to TT Rockstars and keep up the x tables practice. Use ‘sound check’ mode and try to improve your score!

9. Set yourself 3 New Year’s resolutions!

10. Log into Bug Club and play the spelling and grammar bug games.


11. Write a book review for a book you have enjoyed recently.


12.  Research an aspect of South Africa. It might be the food, the animals, the geography of the country or what life was like during Apartheid.

13. Write some ‘thank you’ letters to friends and family for Christmas gifts

14.  Copy out the attached poem in your very best handwriting.


15. Try to exercise a little more every week—walk, run, scoot or ride—you choose!


16. Learn to spell the next green highlighted Y4 words and recap all the ones in orange.

There are 16 activities shown below in the grid which reflect ‘Friends, Faith and Lifelong Learning’. Try to complete 2 or 3 each week and spread the work over the half term so it is ready to be handed in during the last week of the half term—11th February
