This week we will be focusing on the Bible story – Noah’s Ark. On Tuesday FS1 will be using the roll and write letters to help with letter formation when writing their list of animals that go into the Ark whilst FS2 will be writing a list of the food Noah would have needed to get onto the boat for the animals to eat. On Thursday FS1 will be counting animals and recognizing equal amounts and FS2 will be focusing on one of our targets by counting in 2’s and recording this in different ways. On Friday we will be making predictions whether or not different materials float or sink and FS2 will be challenged to create a boat that floats on water with animals inside! On Monday and Wednesday, we will be doing our interventions and Rainbow Groups.

Foundation Stage will be constructing boats and other shelters to protect them from rain and using clay to create animals that went into the ark. We will be looking at grouping different animals  in a variety of ways and creating lots of art around the story too!
