The theme this week is school.  Focused activities this week will include, going for a walk around the school environment, learning staff names and writing about their roles in school, ordering numbers on a washing line, making a model school using 3D shapes and sequencing events in the day.  Independent activities will include sharing books from the book corner, cutting sheets, playdough, threading, making their own number lines using vehicles with numbers dotted on, wind up toys/friction cars, home corner set up, shop set up, farm out, garage, making leaf rubbings with wax crayons or pencils (outside) and record how many leaves there are altogether on the paper, printing with different objects, role play baby clinic inside, role play area as school outside, with a chalk road to ride around to get to the school...

• If your child is in FS2 and 5 years old and you wish them to have milk please ensure you have paid for it on the Cool milk website.

• Please can children only have water in their water bottles as juice or flavoured water raises the sugar level in their mouth every time they have a sip and that causes cavities.

• A healthy fruit snack is provided for your child everyday, please don’t send them to school with extra snack

• Tuck Toast is available on a Friday should you wish your child to have it.  You need to register for this through parent pay and tick all of the weeks you wish your child to have it.

Autumn is nearly here! We have an interest table so please send in any autumn objects you think might be of interest.

Lastly can you look out for fir cones as we would love to make some animals out of them but we need to have quite a few to do this lovely craft activity.   Thank you for your support!
